Tazewell Pike Neighborhood Conservation District:
When this overlay was created, its landscape features were shown to be significant as a major element in the neighborhood’s character. The landscape recommendations from the Conservation District Guidelines should be used in conserving and improving this section of Tazewell Pike.

Cedar Lane:
Cedar trees line a good portion of this arterial road. Measures should be undertaken to conserve those trees and begin the process of planting native white cedars along other portions of the road. Planting rows of cedars would be appropriate in this case to complement the original pattern.
