Special Districts

Various streets and neighborhoods are so distinctive that the Tree Board should recognize them as special districts. These include:

North Hills:
Its tree-filled boulevards are within public rights-of-way and adjoining yards and are a complement to the landscape. Tree protection, infill planting and ongoing maintenance are recommended

The Fairmont Boulevard/Emoriland Boulevard Neighborhood:
These two boulevards have a most pleasant character that is rarely found in Knoxville. An overall plan for tree planting and conservation is recommended.
