Millertown Pike: A Growing Residential Corridor

The south side of Millertown Pike is currently in Knox County’s planned growth area, and this growth boundary should be extended to include the north side of Millertown Pike when the Growth Policy Plan is updated. Developing subdivisions should be planned to include recreational amenities such as walking trails.

Because this is a growing residential area, surface mines nearby should be contained to their present locations and reclamation should take place as quickly as possible.
