The 5 and 15-Year Improvement Plan recommends projects and programs to be implemented for the first five and the next ten years following plan adoption. The 5-Year Plan should be reviewed annually in preparing capital improvement programs. Improvements recommended in this plan represent visions from residents attending workshops and public meetings. Some participants also followed the update procedures on-line, using the Internet to review the background report and to submit ideas. Although the sector is diverse, a remarkable level of consensus exists concerning community goals. If implemented, proposals outlined in this document will fulfill many of those goals.
