Upcoming Public Meetings:
The Metropolitan Planning Commission (MPC) has scheduled a public meeting to discuss East County Sector Plan update. Staff will present information and facilitate group discussions concerning land use, community facilities, and transportation.

Survey Results:
In June a committee was formed to work with MPC staff on the process of updating the East County Sector Plan. The Advisory Committee includes representatives of the various community associations in the sector. A majority of committee members voted to suspend the use of the survey to avoid any confusion on planning terms and legibility of some maps (a problem with the hard copy version of the survey). Since that time several inquiries have been received about the survey results. As a public agency, MPC believes that citizens may have access to such information; the results are available below.
