Recognizing Outstanding Local Development for 25 years!

To celebrate the Silver Anniversary of the MPC Excellence Awards in proper fashion, the Commission decided this year to recognize the “best of the best,” drawing from all the past winners since the first projects were awarded in 1982. This was no easy task, to say the least. In twenty-four years, over 180 projects, groups and individuals have been recognized for what they have contributed to the Knoxville and Knox County landscape. The twelve projects and groups below are the recipient of the Silver Anniversary Excellence Awards.
