Category Descriptions and Winners

Commercial/Industrial

The Commercial/Industrial category includes retail establishments, shopping centers, and industrial and warehousing developments.

Historic Restoration

The Historic Restoration category includes historic properties that have been restored.

Office

The office category includes individual buildings and office parks.

Renovation

The renovation category includes non-historic buildings that have been rehabilitated.

Residential

The residential category includes both single-family and multifamily projects.

Special Use

The special use category includes, but is not limited to, the following: parks, schools, churches, and environmental conservation.

Neighborhood/Civic Association

Includes projects or plans which have been developed for neighborhood or community improvement.

Landmark Achievement

Includes projects that have exhibited a high standard of excellence over time.

Volunteer Award

    Given to an individual who exemplifies the spirit of volunteerism by donating their time and energy for the betterment of the community.
