Description:
Our winner is Manorhouse. The Commission found this assisted living facility to be a most sensitive transition from Northshore Drive to the surrounding residential area. Like many nearby homes, Manorhouse is a two-story brick, gabled structure. The architects, Freeman and Morgan, designed an exterior deck and interior courtyard, providing pleasant spaces for the elderly to enjoy the out-of-doors. Its open space and landscaping greatly enhances the setting. Manorhouse serves as a very worthwhile example in providing housing for older residents of our community.
